US Vice-President JD Vance has articulated a commitment to what he perceives as “God’s work,” even if such efforts might inadvertently usher in the end times. During a podcast interview, Vance expressed uncertainty about whether the world is nearing the end times but acknowledged their inevitability. He speculated that this could occur in the distant future or perhaps much sooner.
Vance raised concerns about developments in contemporary society, suggesting the possibility that the Antichrist might already be present among humanity. He cited the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence in personal relationships as particularly troubling from a religious standpoint. Vance characterized the use of AI as a substitute for genuine human interaction as “kind of satanic,” emphasizing the importance of meaningful personal connections.
The vice-president also recounted experiences of what he described as a spiritual darkness during meetings with global leaders. He mentioned that certain remarks or discussions in these settings could trigger what he referred to as a “spiritual alarm bell.”
In addition, Vance defended President Donald Trump regarding a controversial AI-generated image depicting Trump in a Christ-like manner. He asserted that Trump did not intend to mock Christianity or present himself as divine, framing the image as an attempt at humor.
